See which Sacramento restaurants are part of Chase Sapphire Reserve® Exclusive Tables and how to use the up to $300 dining credit.

Sacramento is a practical city-market use case. The current list is not huge, but it covers downtown, East Sacramento, and event-friendly dining near the Capitol and Golden 1 Center.

For Sacramento, Chase Sapphire Reserve® Exclusive Tables currently has a modest list of 4 participating restaurants. The current list includes 1 restaurants that appear to be new since the earlier version. The credit is useful only if the restaurants fit how you already plan to dine.
Eligible Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can receive up to $300 per calendar year in statement credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants through OpenTable.
The credit is split into two windows:
To use the credit, dine at a participating Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurant and pay with an eligible card. The credit does not apply to every OpenTable restaurant, unused credits do not roll over between the two six-month periods, and participating restaurants can change.
Eligible cardmembers can also link an eligible card on OpenTable for access to special or primetime reservation inventory. Terms apply.
Canon in East Sacramento is a Michelin Guide-rated neighborhood restaurant from chef Brad Cecchi, built around creative shareable American plates and a year-round patio. The credit works well here because small plates let two diners calibrate the check near the $150 half-year amount.
Ella is a downtown Sacramento landmark from the Selland family, serving farm-to-fork New American food, oysters, steaks, pastas, cocktails, and a strong wine list near the Capitol and Golden 1 Center. It is a useful pre-event or business-dinner credit play.
Camden Spit & Larder is chef Oliver Ridgeway’s modern London-inspired restaurant on Capitol Mall, close to the Capitol, convention center, and Golden 1 Center. Use the credit for pre-show dining, a business meal, or an elevated but comfortable downtown dinner.
Allora in East Sacramento is modern Italian fine dining with three-, four-, and five-course prix fixe menus, Michelin/Wine Spectator/DiRōNA recognition, and a 23% service charge. The $150 credit is a partial offset for a planned fine-dining night.

Canon, Camden Spit and Larder, Allora. Start with Canon for shareable plates, Camden for downtown pre-event dining, and Allora when a prix fixe Italian dinner is the goal.
These restaurants appear to be new since the earlier version of the Sacramento Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables list:
Sacramento looks like a average market for using the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables credit, but only if the eligible restaurants overlap with places you would actually visit.
For most readers, the fair value is whatever you would have spent at a participating Sacramento restaurant anyway. Anything beyond that is more coupon-book than cash.
Before booking, check the current OpenTable Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables page for Sacramento and make sure the restaurant is still participating.
