Milwaukee is a smaller Chase Sapphire Reserve® market where real usability matters. The credit can help with a planned dinner, but the list is not broad enough to treat as automatic value.

Last checked: July 8, 2026. Restaurant participation can change.

Quick Take

For Milwaukee, Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables currently has a modest list of 5 participating restaurants. The list has changed, with 4 restaurants appearing to be new and 2 earlier restaurants not showing now. The credit is useful only if the restaurants fit how you already plan to dine.

How the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables Credit Works

Eligible Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can receive up to $300 per calendar year in statement credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants through OpenTable.

The credit is split into two windows:

  • Up to $150 from January 1 through June 30
  • Up to $150 from July 1 through December 31

To use the credit, dine at a participating Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurant and pay with an eligible card. The credit does not apply to every OpenTable restaurant, unused credits do not roll over between the two six-month periods, and participating restaurants can change.

Eligible cardmembers can also link an eligible card on OpenTable for access to special or primetime reservation inventory. Terms apply.

Milwaukee Restaurants Currently on the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables List

EsterEv

EsterEv in Bay View is the intimate, globally inspired tasting-menu entry from Dan Jacobs and Dan Van Rite, both noted by OpenTable as James Beard Best Chef Midwest nominees. Use the credit for a planned special dinner, and watch the cancellation policy before booking.

Birch - Milwaukee

Birch is a Milwaukee New American restaurant built around Wisconsin farmers, hyper-seasonal ingredients, and open-fire cooking. The $150 credit fits a dinner where you want a local, ingredient-driven meal that feels distinctly Wisconsin rather than a generic downtown steakhouse.

DanDan Milwaukee

DanDan is a downtown Milwaukee Chinese restaurant with Midwestern sensibility from the DanDan/HesterEv team, serving playful, seasonal dishes inspired by childhood flavors. The credit is useful for a shareable dinner of dumplings, noodles, meats, vegetables, and cocktails.

Bacchus – A Bartolotta Restaurant

Bacchus is Bartolotta’s contemporary American fine-dining restaurant in downtown Milwaukee’s Cudahy Tower, with seasonal cooking, an extensive wine list, valet hours, and private rooms. Use the credit for a polished celebration where the $150 window meaningfully lowers the bill.

Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993

Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 is the group’s Wauwatosa flagship, set in a historic brewery building with handmade pasta, regional Italian menus, and an intimate room. The credit works well for a classic Italian date night or monthly “Viaggio in Italia” menu.

Final Thoughts

Milwaukee looks like a average market for using the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables credit, but only if the eligible restaurants overlap with places you would actually visit.

The $300 annual amount is helpful, but only the portion you realistically use should count in your card math. If Milwaukee's list changes where you eat just to use the benefit, value it at less than face value.

Before booking, check the current OpenTable Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables page for Milwaukee and make sure the restaurant is still participating.
