See which Charleston restaurants are part of Chase Sapphire Reserve® Exclusive Tables and how to use the up to $300 dining credit.

Charleston is a city where dining can be part of the trip itself. The Chase Sapphire Reserve® Exclusive Tables credit is easiest to justify when it offsets a restaurant you would have booked for the trip anyway.
Last checked: July 8, 2026. Restaurant participation can change.
For Charleston, Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables currently has a modest list of 4 participating restaurants. The credit is useful only if the restaurants fit how you already plan to dine.
Eligible Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can receive up to $300 per calendar year in statement credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants through OpenTable.
The credit is split into two windows:
To use the credit, dine at a participating Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurant and pay with an eligible card. The credit does not apply to every OpenTable restaurant, unused credits do not roll over between the two six-month periods, and participating restaurants can change.
Eligible cardmembers can also link an eligible card on OpenTable for access to special or primetime reservation inventory. Terms apply.
Chase Sapphire Reserve®Annual fee: $795

Southbound is a downtown Charleston live-fire restaurant built around oak smoke, dry-aged meats, seasonal dishes, cocktails, and wine. It is a strong credit use for a dinner where the kitchen's grill work is the point and the $150 statement credit helps with mains and drinks.
Oak Steakhouse sits in an 1848 Broad Street bank building and serves Certified Angus beef, seafood, oysters, house pasta, and a broad wine list. It is the obvious Charleston credit target for a classic steakhouse night, especially when sides and wine push the check upward.
Tempest is a downtown coastal modern American restaurant near Church and Union, with raw and roasted seafood, seasonal produce, pastas, and a USA Today 10Best new-restaurant nod. The credit works well for seafood-focused dinners where the setting and menu feel occasion-worthy.
Ma'am Saab brings modern Pakistani cooking to downtown Charleston, with butter chicken, biryani, karahi, vegetable dishes, and bold spice. It is a useful alternative to the city's steak and seafood picks when you want the $150 credit to support a more flavor-driven dinner.
Oak Steakhouse - Charleston. This is the right bucket for a planned steakhouse night, not for someone trying to keep the check close to $150.
Southbound, Tempest, Ma'am Saab. I would check these first for a practical reservation, then move to the splurge picks only if they already fit the night.
Charleston looks like a average market for using the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables credit, but only if the eligible restaurants overlap with places you would actually visit.
The credit is easiest to value when it applies to a restaurant you already wanted. If Charleston's list changes where you eat just to use the benefit, value it at less than face value.
Before booking, check the current OpenTable Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables page for Charleston and make sure the restaurant is still participating.
