Central Coast is more of a travel-market use case than a local city guide. If the participating restaurant fits your weekend route, the Sapphire Reserve credit can help; if not, there may not be a backup option nearby.

Last checked: July 8, 2026. Restaurant participation can change.

Quick Take

For Central Coast, Chase Sapphire Reserve® Exclusive Tables currently has a very narrow list of 1 participating restaurant. The credit is useful only if the restaurants fit how you already plan to dine.

How the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables Credit Works

Eligible Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can receive up to $300 per calendar year in statement credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants through OpenTable.

The credit is split into two windows:

  • Up to $150 from January 1 through June 30
  • Up to $150 from July 1 through December 31

To use the credit, dine at a participating Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurant and pay with an eligible card. The credit does not apply to every OpenTable restaurant, unused credits do not roll over between the two six-month periods, and participating restaurants can change.

Eligible cardmembers can also link an eligible card on OpenTable for access to special or primetime reservation inventory. Terms apply.

Sebby's Take: This premium travel card is packed with perks like airport lounge access, travel credits, and elevated rewards on travel and dining. It’s a top choice for frequent travelers who want premium benefits and flexible redemption options

Bell’s

Bell's in Los Alamos is a French-inspired bistro from Per Se alumni Daisy and Greg Ryan, with a Michelin star, lunch service, and a reservation-only prix fixe dinner. The $150 half-year credit is especially useful for dinner, where it can offset one tasting menu before tax and service.

Notable Picks

Best use if the list is narrow

Start with Bell’s. With only 1 current option, this market is useful only if the restaurant already fits your plans.

Best practical shortlist

Bell’s. For most readers, this is the first bucket to check before turning the credit into an expensive special-occasion meal.

Final Thoughts

Central Coast looks like a weak market for using the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables credit, but only if the eligible restaurants overlap with places you would actually visit.

The up to $300 annual credit is useful when it reduces the cost of a meal you were already planning. If Central Coast's list changes where you eat just to use the benefit, value it at less than face value.

Before booking, check the current OpenTable Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables page for Central Coast and make sure the restaurant is still participating.
