See which Austin restaurants are part of Chase Sapphire Reserve® Exclusive Tables and how to use the up to $300 dining credit.

Austin has enough destination restaurants that a dining credit can be useful, but neighborhood and reservation timing still matter. Treat this as a shortlist for a planned nicer dinner, not a reason to pick a restaurant you would have skipped.
Last checked: July 8, 2026. Restaurant participation can change.
For Austin, Chase Sapphire Reserve® Exclusive Tables currently has a broad list compared with many markets, with 14 participating restaurants. The list has changed, with 3 restaurants appearing to be new and 3 earlier restaurants no longer showing. The credit is useful only if the restaurants fit how you already plan to dine.
Eligible Chase Sapphire Reserve® and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can receive up to $300 per calendar year in statement credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants through OpenTable.
The credit is split into two windows:
To use the credit, dine at a participating Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurant and pay with an eligible card. The credit does not apply to every OpenTable restaurant, unused credits do not roll over between the two six-month periods, and participating restaurants can change.
Eligible cardmembers can also link an eligible card on OpenTable for access to special or primetime reservation inventory. Terms apply.
Chase Sapphire Reserve®Annual fee: $795
Sebby's Take: This premium travel card is packed with perks like airport lounge access, travel credits, and elevated rewards on travel and dining. It’s a top choice for frequent travelers who want premium benefits and flexible redemption options

Red Ash Italia is the downtown wood-fired Italian pick, with handmade pastas, seafood, prime steaks, and a warehouse-district room. The credit is easy to use here for a higher-end pasta-and-wine dinner, but OpenTable notes tap-to-pay is not accepted, so bring the physical eligible card.
Este is East Austin's seafood-forward Mexican restaurant from the Suerte team, built around mariscos, ceviches, oysters, charcoal cooking, and coastal cocktails. It is a strong $150-window use for two diners sharing small plates and drinks without jumping straight to tasting-menu pricing.
Clark's is the Clarksville seafood counter choice from MML Hospitality, known for oysters, raw bar platters, caviar, and daily seafood specials. Use the credit when you want a polished but not overly formal seafood meal where oysters and drinks can make the statement credit meaningful.
Suerte is an East Austin Mexican restaurant from chef Fermín Núñez, centered on masa, local ingredients, and contemporary Mexican flavors. It is a practical credit target for a dinner of shared plates, tacos, and cocktails, especially if you want something distinctly Austin rather than generic fine dining.
Comedor is a downtown modern Mexican restaurant from chef Philip Speer, with a Michelin recommendation, dramatic Tom Kundig-designed space, and Texas-meets-Mexico cooking. The $150 credit is most useful here for a date night with shared starters, mains, and agave drinks.
Kemuri Tatsu-ya mixes Texas barbecue with Japanese izakaya energy from the Ramen Tatsu-Ya team: brisket tsukemen, creative small plates, highballs, and smoke. It is one of Austin's more fun credit uses because the meal can be casual, distinctive, and easy to share.
Hestia is the downtown live-fire splurge, a Michelin-starred restaurant centered on a 20-foot hearth with tasting-menu and à la carte options. Use the Sapphire Reserve credit as a partial offset for a serious dinner; it will not make the meal cheap, but it can take the edge off.
Perla's is the South Congress seafood standby from MML Hospitality, with oysters, grilled fish, coastal plates, and a patio scene. The credit works well for a weekend lunch or dinner where seafood towers, cocktails, or wine would otherwise make the check climb quickly.
Emmer & Rye on Rainey Street focuses on seasonal, local ingredients, house-milled grains, fermentation, and a modern American tasting-menu style. It is a thoughtful use of the $150 credit for diners who want a chef-driven meal rather than a steakhouse or raw-bar redemption.
Birdie's is the East Austin walk-in favorite with limited reservations, known for seasonal American cooking, pasta, wine, and counter-service ease. The credit can be useful, but check OpenTable availability first; if reservations are scarce, plan around a walk-in meal rather than counting on primetime access.
Nixta Taqueria is the creative masa and taco option in East Austin, known for colorful tostadas, inventive tacos, and a more casual format than most Exclusive Tables picks. It is a good way to use the credit without forcing a formal dinner, though the bill may require drinks or extra dishes to use much of $150.
Jeffrey's is the Clarksville special-occasion steakhouse from MML Hospitality, with polished service, dry-aged beef, seafood, and a deep wine program. Use the half-year credit for an anniversary, client dinner, or classic Austin splurge where the statement credit offsets a bill you expected.
Canje is East Austin's Caribbean restaurant from the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, with Guyanese and broader island influences, bold spices, and shareable plates. It is a strong credit target when you want something more distinctive than steak or Italian and can use $150 across food and cocktails.
Le Calamar is the newer Austin listing, so confirm current hours, menu, and location on OpenTable before booking. If the seafood-leaning name and reservation details match your plans, the $150 credit can be used as a test-drive subsidy for a first visit rather than a reason to over-order.
Red Ash Italia. This bucket is usually more flexible than a fixed-menu splurge and can work better for a practical credit use.
Clark's Oyster Bar - Austin, Perla's Seafood and Oyster Bar. Good fit when seafood already matches the meal you had in mind.
Red Ash Italia, Este, Clark's Oyster Bar - Austin, Suerte. If you want the credit to feel like a normal dinner credit, start with these before looking at pricier or less convenient options.
These restaurants appear to be new since the earlier version of the Austin Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables list:
These restaurants appeared on an earlier version of the Austin Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables list but were not showing on the current city page as of July 8, 2026:
That does not necessarily mean they are gone permanently. OpenTable participation can change, so check the current page before booking.
Austin looks like a strong market for using the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables credit, but only if the eligible restaurants overlap with places you would actually visit.
I would value the credit based on realistic use in Austin, not the $300 annual amount. A restaurant you would not normally book is not the same as cash.
Before booking, check the current OpenTable Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables page for Austin and make sure the restaurant is still participating.
