Starting August 1, 2025, American Express rolled out a major enhancement to the Disney streaming benefit for Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express and Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express cardholders. If you're subscribed to Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+, this is an easy win.

Previously, both cards required you to spend at least $9.99/month on a bundle to earn the streaming credit. Now, no minimum spend is required, and standalone services qualify.
You can now receive a monthly statement credit, even if you're not purchasing the Disney Bundle or if your charge is less than $9.99.
To use the Disney streaming benefit:
Subscription must be set to auto-renew. It may take up to 24 hours after enrollment for the benefit to activate. After the charge posts, you’ll typically receive the statement credit within a few business days (up to 6–8 weeks max, per Amex T&Cs).
