No. Both the newer 787 staggered seat and older 777 reverse-herringbone seat have privacy shells but no closing suite door.

Which current U.S. flights use EVA's 787 or 777 Royal Laurel seats?＋

The August 31, 2026 snapshot includes 787 frequencies from San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas–Fort Worth, and Washington Dulles, plus 777 frequencies from Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York JFK, Houston, and Chicago. Confirm the exact flight because equipment can change.

Why is EVA's own program ranked ahead of Aeroplan?＋

Infinity MileageLands can have better access to EVA-operated premium inventory. Aeroplan is easier to fund and search, but partner seats can be much scarcer.

Should I transfer Capital One miles directly to EVA?＋

Compare the live options first. Capital One's reviewed direct EVA ratio is not 1:1, while Aeroplan is 1:1; EVA's own program may still justify the weaker ratio when it sees a seat Aeroplan cannot book.
