Can I fly the Singapore A380 Business double bed from the U.S.?

Not on the current schedule. Singapore's U.S. flights use A350s and 777-300ERs. The A380's selected center double-bed pairs are a different product on non-U.S. routes.

Is a KrisFlyer waitlist the same as a confirmed award?

No. A waitlist can fail to clear and requires miles in the account. Transfer only when you understand that risk; a confirmed Saver or Advantage result is materially safer.
