Look for alternating forward- and rear-facing suites with paired center seats. Qatar's 787-9 also has doors, but it is a different Business Class suite.

Search Qatar's own award calendar for saver space and book with Avios. Peak or Flexi inventory can cost substantially more than the saver target.

Look for a standard saver result in Qatar's award calendar, then confirm Qsuite on the live seat map. Flexi space can cost roughly double, and award inventory is channel-specific.
Taxes and carrier charges are additional and vary by itinerary. A current U.S.–Doha example can include roughly $200 in cash charges, so use the checkout total.
American can book Qatar partner awards at a low published starting value, but Qatar may expose saver seats to its own program that American cannot see.

Search the exact Qatar flight on American. Treat a Qatar saver result as a lead, not proof that AAdvantage can book the same seat.
Taxes and partner charges are extra. American often collects lower cash charges than an Avios booking, but verify the live total.
British Airways can book oneworld partner awards with Avios and is reachable from more U.S. points currencies, but partner pricing and cash charges must be checked live.

Search the Qatar-operated nonstop as a British Airways Reward Flight. British Airways changed partner pricing in December 2025, so use the displayed Avios and cash total rather than an old chart screenshot.
British Airways shows Avios plus taxes, fees, and carrier charges. Compare the complete result with Qatar and American before transferring.
