Which ITA Airways Business Class cabin is this?
Use the complete aircraft map. The target A330-900neo has 291 total seats and 30 Business seats; the target A350-900 has 319 total seats and 33 Business seats. A 256-seat A330-200 with 20 seats in 2-2-2 is the legacy cabin.
TARGET CABIN◎
ITA A330neo Business Class
Airbus A330-900neo · 291 seats · 30 Business seats
ITA's A330neo has 30 Thompson Vantage XL seats in a staggered 1-2-1 layout, with direct aisle access, a fully flat bed, a 17.3-inch 4K screen, and Bluetooth connectivity.
291 total seats
30 Business seats
24 Premium Economy seats
237 Economy seats
Eight staggered 1-2-1 rows
No closing doors
Do not confuse this with the older A330-200. The target map has 30 direct-aisle Business seats; the legacy map has 20 seats in 2-2-2.Open ITA's A330neo seat map ↗
TARGET CABIN◎
ITA A350 Business Class
Airbus A350-900 · 319 seats · 33 Business seats
ITA's A350 has 33 Collins Super Diamond seats in a reverse-herringbone 1-2-1 layout. Every passenger has direct aisle access and a fully flat bed, but the seats do not have closing doors.
319 total seats
33 Business seats
24 Premium Economy seats
262 Economy seats
Reverse-herringbone 1-2-1 layout
No closing doors
The 33-seat map is intentionally uneven and reflects the aircraft's inherited interior. Match the complete 33J/24W/262Y configuration rather than relying on an A350 label alone.Open ITA's A350 seat map ↗
LEGACY CABIN◇
ITA legacy A330-200 Business Class
Airbus A330-200 · 256 seats · 20 Business seats
ITA's older A330-200 has 20 lie-flat Business seats in 2-2-2. Window passengers do not have direct aisle access, making it materially different from the A330neo and A350 cabins.

20 Business seats
17 Premium Economy seats
219 Economy seats

No direct aisle access from every seat
An older A330 can appear as an operational substitution. Avoid it when the goal is ITA's direct-aisle product, and recheck the map close to departure.Compare ITA's legacy A330 seat map ↗
DIFFERENT AIRCRAFT◇
ITA A321neo Business Suite
Airbus A321neo/LR · narrow-body door suite
ITA's A321neo long-range cabin includes a door-equipped lie-flat Business suite, but it is a narrow-body product used on different routes—not the widebody cabin scheduled on reviewed U.S.–Rome flights.

Summer 2026 ITA widebody cabin snapshot
These snapshots intentionally omit JFK and Miami because their assignments mix the A330neo, A350, and occasional older A330. ITA can substitute aircraft on every route, so confirm the exact flight and full seat map before transferring points.

Which reviewed U.S. routes currently have ITA's A330neo Business Class?+
As of August 31, 2026, daily AZ614/615 from Boston and AZ640/641 from San Francisco, roughly three-weekly seasonal AZ618/619 from Washington Dulles and AZ628/629 from Chicago, and five-weekly AZ636/637 from Houston use the 291-seat A330-900neo. Recheck the 30J/24W/237Y map because substitutions remain possible.
Which reviewed U.S. route currently has ITA's A350 Business Class?+
As of August 31, 2026, daily AZ620/621 between Los Angeles and Rome uses the 319-seat A350-900. Confirm 33 Business, 24 Premium Economy, and 262 Economy seats for your exact departure.
Why are New York and Miami missing from the product route list?+
Their late-August schedules mix A330neo and A350 assignments, with occasional older A330 substitutions. The routes still operate, but they are not clean enough to promise one specific Business product on this page.
Can I still book ITA awards with Volare?+
No. Volare ended on March 30, 2026. ITA became fully integrated with Miles & More and joined Star Alliance on April 1, 2026, so current guidance must use Miles & More and eligible Star Alliance partners such as Aeroplan.
Can I still book ITA through Virgin Atlantic Flying Club?+
No. The Virgin Atlantic–ITA partnership ended on November 18, 2025. Older Virgin award prices are historical and should not be used for a current transfer decision.
Does ITA's A321neo door suite fly these U.S.–Rome routes?+
No. It is a distinct single-aisle product used on other routes. The reviewed U.S.–Rome snapshots on this page cover the A330-900neo and A350-900 widebodies only.
Is Aeroplan's 75,000- or 90,000-point price always available?+
No. Those are fixed partner-chart prices only when ITA releases qualifying Business inventory to Aeroplan. Partner space is currently scarce, so confirm the exact award before transferring points.
How many transferable points do I need for ITA Airways Business Class?+
Use the Award Goal Planner with the exact live price, number of travelers, your selected booking-program balance, and flexible-points balance. It applies the reviewed transfer ratio, minimum, increment, and eligible public bonus without implying that award seats are available.
