Cathay's open First suite is exceptionally wide, with a 36-inch seat, 81-inch fully flat bed, ottoman that can seat a companion, and only six passengers in a 1-1-1 cabin.
Cathay removes First when a 777 receives Aria Suite. The refreshed aircraft has 45 Business suites, 48 Premium Economy seats, and 268 Economy seats.
Cathay plans a new First Class product for its 777-9 fleet, but delivery and entry into service are expected in 2027. It is not a current booking or route option.
