Best Stock Brokerages of 2023

Investing should be accessible for everyone, and you shouldn't need $100,000 or have to go through a "financial advisor" to get started. Here are some of my favorite investing platforms for 2023, whether you're just getting started or already established.

New platforms have better UX/UI, more features, lower minimums, and competitive intro bonuses!

Best Established Brokerage

Robinhood

Robinhood offers commission-free investing for stocks, ETFs, options, and crypto.

Robinhood is the most established of the newer platform options and is constantly adding new features.

Key features:

  • User friendly app experience
  • IPO Access allows you to get in at the IPO price vs. waiting for it to trade (and potentially spike) on the first day of trading.
  • Fractional shares, meaning you can invest as little as $1
  • Robinhood is registered with the SEC, part of FINRA, member of SIPC for insurance.

Newer platforms have a brand name but tend to charge for advanced features (or require substantial minimums). They also tend to use less modern UX/UI.
