Menu

NORTHEAST PORTLAND · KOREAN

What to expect at
Han Oak.

A Korean jipbap dinner with a tray of banchan and appetizers, a main chosen by each guest, and dessert. Included small dishes are part of the meal rather than separate à la carte picks.

Set dinner with choices

Galbi-jjim

Boneless short rib with sweet potato, vegetables and pine nuts.

Twice-cooked pork bokkeum

Koji-cured coppa, rice cake and vegetables with kimchi-chili glaze.

Mae-un-tang

Black cod in spicy seafood broth with clams, mussels and head-on shrimp.

Mushroom ddukboki

Rice cakes and mushrooms in garlic cream with Parmesan and nori; crab and roe are optional additions.

What to expect

This is a published sample set dinner. The main is a choice within the meal; scallop dynamite, radicchio salad and chicken-and-waffles are separate add-ons. The menu contains meat, seafood, shellfish, soy and gluten; do not assume a mushroom main makes the whole dinner vegetarian.

Banchan tray

Cucumber, braised tofu and potato salad in the sample opening.

Crab and egg

Steamed egg custard with Dungeness crab and chives.

Dry-aged salmon hwe

Citrus-pepper soy, roe and crisp potato accompany the raw fish.

Sweet potato mochi cake

Blood orange, cream and red-bean misugaru in the sample dessert.
