The U.S. Bank Cash+ is ideal for those who want more control over their spend categories. Each quarter, you’ll need to choose and activate your 5% and 2% categories to earn more cash back.
You can choose categories up to 45 days before each quarter begins, and change the categories up to 5 days before each quarter begins.
If you forget to choose your categories, you can still select them during the quarter. However, if you don’t choose any categories, all purchases will earn 1% cash back.
Cash back earned can be redeemed anytime in the form of a deposit to your U.S. Bank account, a statement credit, or a U.S. Bank Rewards Card.
Important: Unredeemed Cash Rewards expire 36 months after the billing period they were earned. Be sure to redeem Cash Rewards before they expire.
