Which Chase Hotel “Keeper Card” Should You Get in 2019?

A “keeper” hotel credit card is one that gives you positive expected value each year by outweighing the annual fee, and ideally, comes with a free anniversary night.

The hotel credit card landscape of cards issued by Chase bank has changed since we ranked them in 2018. Cards have been refreshed with new branding, annual fees, and restrictions on free night certificates.

In this post, we’ll review the long-term value of the World of Hyatt, Marriott Bonvoy Boundless, and IHG Rewards Club Premier credit cards.

Note: All Chase hotel credit cards are affected by the Chase 5/24 rule. If you have opened more than 5 credit cards from any credit issuer in the past 24 months, you will automatically get rejected.
