What's In My Wallet? March 2018 Edition

The cards in my wallet rotate each month depending on if I get approved for a new credit card, or if I'm trying to maximize a 5x category.

Tax payments are due in less than a month, so I added the Amex Hilton Aspire card get a return on spend for paying taxes.

Amex Hilton Aspire

The Amex Hilton Aspire card has a $450 annual fee, but it gives you automatic Hilton Diamond status and 100,000 points. I usually recommend waiting for an increased offer, but I have some bills coming up that I'm paying via Plastiq

Also, I have a redemption in mind for the points and free weekend night, so the timing is right for me.

Amex SPG Business

The Amex SPG Business card has an increased signup bonus of 30k points (offer ends 3/28/18). One of my goals is to take an Emirates Airlines first class flight, and SPG points are the best way to achieve this.

The Amex SPG Business card is my equivalent to the Chase Freedom Unlimited for non-category spending.

You can view credit card offers by going to the "Credit Card Offers" tab. Find offers for the respective cards in "Travel Rewards Credit Cards" and "Business Credit Cards." You don't have to use our links, but we're grateful when you do. Thank you for supporting AskSebby!

Chase Sapphire Reserve

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is my default card for dining this quarter because it earns 3x points.
