American Express Delta Platinum
American Express Delta Platinum card has a program where you can spend $25,000 on the card to earn an MQD waiver.
To earn Delta status you’ll need:
Status = Requirement .1 + Requirement 2
1) Requirement 1 = either:
a) MQM = miles w/ Delta & SkyTeam (i.e., Korean Air)
b) MQS = segments (flights) w/ Delta & SkyTeam
2) Requirement 2 = either:
a) MQD = $$$ spent w/ Delta & SkyTeam
b) MQD waiver = $25,000 spent on Amex Delta cards

The Amex Gold card is my go-to card for dining since it earns 4x.
The Chase Freedom 5x categories for Q2 2019 are grocery stores and home improvement stores. Walmart and Target are NOT included.
