What's In My Wallet? April 2018 Edition

The cards in my wallet rotate based on 5x categories and if I need to hit minimum spend on a new credit card.

You can view credit card offers by going to the "Credit Card Offers" tab. Find offers for the respective cards in "Travel Rewards Credit Cards" and "Business Credit Cards." You don't have to use our links, but we're grateful when you do. Thank you for supporting AskSebby!

Chase Sapphire Reserve

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is my go-to card for dining. It's stayed in my wallet since the beginning of 2018 since none of the 5x cards I hold have dining as a category.

Discover It

April is the beginning of Q2 2018, so the Discover It is my card for groceries. My card is still in the first year, and all the purchases qualify for Cashback Match.

5% Cash back on groceries is really 10% thanks to Cashback Match.

Hilton Aspire

I just received the Hilton Aspire card, and I'm still working on the minimum spend requirement to earn the signup bonus.

Chase Ink Preferred

My plan is to pay taxes with the Chase Ink Preferred via Plastiq because all transactions are currently coding as 3x back. This can change anytime. Learn more about how to pay your taxes with a credit card in this post.

Try Plastiq and get $500 in fee-free payments after you spend $500 (referral link): http://bit.ly/asksebby-plastiq
