American Express Mercedes-Benz Platinum Card Links Disappearing

The official links to apply for the Mercedes-Benz co-branded Platinum card have been pulled from the Mercedes website. There is one direct link that is still active for now

If the Mercedes-Benz Platinum card is on your list of cards to get, now would be a good time to apply. It's rumored that American Express will stop taking applications on 3/31/18.

Since the American Express and Mercedes-Benz card program will end in January 2019, the card will most likely be converted to a vanilla American Express Platinum card.

The optimal strategy would be to get the vanilla Amex Platinum card first so you don't miss out on the signup bonus due to the "once in a lifetime rule."

Get 1,000 Points with Chase and Apple Pay (Targeted)

A targeted email was sent from Chase to get 1,000 points when you use your Chase card 5 times with Apple Pay between April 1 and April 30, 2018.

Data points suggest that this offer is available on the Chase Freedom Unlimited, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

Get $25 for filling out a survey about your health insurance

JOANY is a venture-backed startup that's raised $19.2 million to help people find plans and manage their health insurance needs all in one place (for free).

JOANY is currently conducting a research study to learn more about consumer's healthcare needs, but not everyone will qualify.

Earn a $25 reward via PayPal or Amazon by filling out the ~5-10 minute healthcare survey (we'll get $25 too): http://bit.ly/2J8hSEO

How to qualify for the survey:

  • You’ve already purchased your health insurance plan, and is active for 2018.
  • You purchased your health insurance plan through your state exchange, Healthcare.gov, through a broker, or directly through a health plan like Oscar, Aetna, Blue Shield, etc.
  • You don’t receive your health insurance through an employer.
  • You don’t receive your health insurance through your school or university.
  • You are not on your state’s Medicaid program, Medicare, or VA health insurance.

You don't need to signup for the concierge service to participate in the survey. One important note is that you will have to enter a lot of personal information like your name and upload a picture of your health insurance card to verify the data (prevents people from abusing the survey).
