Hyatt 40% Bonus

To receive the 40% bonus from the Hyatt points sale, you must buy a minimum of 10,000 points. I usually value Hyatt points at 2 cents per point.

At a minimum, this means you're spending a minimum of $240 to buy 10,000 points, and at a maximum, you're spending $1,320 to buy 55,000 points. If you buy the maximum amount, you'll gain 22.3% in value.

Watch the video below for ideal redemptions and use cases.

SPG 35% Discount

To receive the 35% discount from SPG, you must buy a minimum of 3,000 points. The real discounts/gains start kicking in at 10,000 points. Most people value SPG points at 2.5-3.5 cents per point, depending on the redemption.

SPG and Marriott points can also be used towards vacation packages or flights.
