Jet Anywhere Is Ending May 1, 2017.
One of the reasons why I love shopping online over in-stores is because of online cash back shopping portals. If you play your cards right, the cash back can range from 1–20% with shopping portals. I've received almost $1,000/year in JetCash.
Jet.com is a competitor to Amazon, who was recently acquired by Walmart. Jet implemented a marketing program called “Jet Anywhere” to help shoppers buy what they couldn’t find on Jet.
How to use Jet Anywhere:
- Visit https://jet.com/anywhere to see if your desired brand is one of the 600+ brands across Jet.com
- Shop through the Jet Anywhere portal by clicking on the brand’s link
- After the purchase is complete, forward the order confirmation email to firstname.lastname@example.org
- JetCash will be deposited into your account within a few days with a pending status. After the purchase is verified, use JetCash to shop on Jet.com
Why does Jet Anywhere exist?
If you’re wondering how companies can afford to offer cash back, it’s coming out of the marketing budget. For example, instead of a brand spending millions on a billboard, they can set up an affiliate program with Jet and pass the savings onto the consumer.
Jet is unique because you could still get cash back even if you didn’t shop through the links. All you had to do was forward your online shopping invoice to email@example.com to receive JetCash.
According to Jet, here’s why they are discontinuing the program:
Why is Jet shutting down the Jet Anywhere program?
Jet Anywhere launched when we were still in the early stages of building our product catalog; it was intended to help our shoppers save on items they couldn’t find on Jet. Since then, though, our assortment has grown to over 20 million items and counting — and by shutting down Jet Anywhere, we can focus in on adding more great brands to the site and finding you innovative new ways to save.
What you need to know
You can continue to earn JetCash up until the program ends on May 1, 2017. Receipts submitted after that day will not be eligible for JetCash.
The JetCash in you account will remain valid until May 1, 2018. To find your JetCash account balance, visit the Account section of the Jet.com site.

Earn even more cash back
Use cash back credit cards while on Jet to maximize the return. In this example, I used the Discover It card to get cashback match on my Nike purchase. There was a 20% discount because the shorts were on sale. The Discover portal offered 15% cash back, and Jet at the time offered 20% JetCash.
How to get the most cash back with online shopping:
- Find a good deal or sale online (slickdeals.net is great for this)
- Shop with the optimal credit card for the cash back category
- Use the optimal online shopping portal to get cash back
