The fine print
The bonus is not available to those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance.
To receive the $300 checking signup bonus, you'll need to open a new checking account and set up direct deposit.
The $12 monthly maintenance fee is waviable if you do at least one of the following:
- Monthly direct deposits totaling $500 or more
- Keep a daily balance of $1,500 or more in your checking account
- Keep an average daily balance of $5,000 or more in any combination of linked accounts
To receive the $200 savings signup bonus, you'll need to deposit a balance of $15,000 or more in new money within 20 days and maintain a $15,000 balance for 90 days.
Both accounts need to stay open for a minimum of 6 months, or Chase can claw back the bonus.
