Earn Southwest Companion Pass and 30,000 Points with ONE Credit Card Bonus

If earning Southwest Companion Pass is one of your travel goals in 2019, you’re in luck! For a limited time, all three versions of the personal Southwest credit cards have an intro bonus of 30,000 points AND Companion Pass valid through 2019.

Important note: The promotional Companion Pass via this offer is valid through 12/31/19, and NOT 2020.

What is Southwest Companion Pass?

Southwest Companion Pass is a benefit that allows you to choose one person to fly with you for free on every Southwest trip you take (you’ll still have to pay taxes and fees). You can change your companion up to 3 times.

Typically, to earn Southwest Companion Pass, you would need to accumulate 110,000 Rapid Reward points in one calendar year. One way to do this was through credit card intro bonuses by acquiring two Southwest credit cards - one personal and one business.

The Companion Pass earned through 110,000 points is valid for the remaining calendar year plus the following calendar year.

However, since not everyone qualifies for a business credit card, the new promotional Companion Pass offer is a good offer. Keep in mind that the promotional pass is only valid through the end of 2019.
