Citi Bank Devalues Key Benefits: Citi Price Rewind, Citi Prestige Trip Delay Protection, CDW, and Return Protection

It seems like a wave of benefit rollbacks are happening this summer. Citi Bank announced that they would decrease coverage of benefits from their cards.

The devaluations will be effective starting on July 29,2018, and the changes may vary depending on the Citi card you have.

The snippets in this blog post are from the Citi Prestige. Be sure to check your email or benefits guide for the most up-to-date changes to your respective card.

Citi Price Rewind

Citi Price Rewind searches for lower prices on registered items that you pay for with your Citi card. If a lower price is found within 60 days of your initial purchase, Citi will refund you the price difference.

To be eligible for the benefit, you must pay for the item in part or in full with your Citi card. You will only receive the lesser of the actual amount paid for with your Citi card or the maximum benefit per item.

Starting on July 29, 2018, trip delay protection will only apply to delays of 6 hours or more.
