$500 Sign-up bonus

One clarification is that you earn 50,000 Ultimate Reward points, which can be cashed out for $500. Since the bonus is rewarded in UR points, you get even more value when you redeem points for travel by transferring points the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, or the Chase Ink Preferred.

Multipliers

a) Chase Sapphire Preferred (CSP) = 1.25 CPP

b) Chase Sapphire Reserve (CSR) = 1.5 CPP

c) CSP/CSR/CIP via Transfer Partners = 2 CPP+

50k UR with these...

a) 50k UR * 1.25 CPP = $625

b) 50k UR * 1.5 CPP = $750

c) 50k UR * 2 CPP = $1,000

The normal sign-up bonus is only 20,000 UR points after $2,000 in spend, so the historic high 50,000 point bonus is as good as it gets for a no annual fee card.

20,000 UR vs. 50,000 UR Offer

  • 1 CPP = $300 increase (compared to normal offer)

CSP travel portal

  • 1.25 CPP = $375 increase

Sign-up bonus and application rules

5/24 Rule

The Chase Ink Cash is affected by the 5/24 rule, but doesn't count towards it. This means that you will not be approved for the card if you have been approved for 5 or more credit cards in the past 24 months.

Chase business cards

If you recently applied for the Chase Ink Preferred card, be sure to wait at least 30 days before applying for another Chase business card. Applying for too many business cards in a short time frame can raise a red flag.

Sign-up bonus

You are not eligible for a signup bonus if you have received a Chase Ink Cash bonus in the past 24 months. The signup bonus clock starts when you receive the bonus, and not when you opened the account.

To be elgible for the bonus, you can't currently hold the Chase Ink Cash card, AND you can't have received a Chase Ink Cash bonus in the last two years.
